もうすぐEsserini（エッセリーニ）がmanosにやってきます！
11/13（土）から20(土)の11:00~18:00まで（最終日は16:00まで）@manos
エッセリーニとは、、、イタリア語で『小さな存在』という意味。イタリア人アーティスト シモーナ コスタンツオさんによって生み出された『エッセリーニ』は、ただのぬいぐるみやおもちゃではなく、布の肌と小石のハートを持った立派な『存在』です。すべてイタリアでハンドメイドされており、それぞれのエッセーリには物語とメッセージ（おまじないの言葉）を持って誰の元にいくか、運命づけられています。。エッセリーニがあなたを選ぶのです。。。エッセリーニ作者のシモーナさんは手がうごくままにエッセリーニのデザインを描きため、名前の代わりに番号を振っていっていました。

絵を描きあげるとそれらを実際に手にとってみたくなり、布とボタンを使ってボディーを作り、その中に河原の小石を入れてそれを心臓としてこころと愛を吹き込みました。ハートが河原の小石なのにはちゃーんと理由があります。。
小石の心臓
以下、シモーナさんのインタビューより
普段私たちは石を踏みつけるばかりでまじまじと見ることはありません。でも、石はとても美しくそれぞれが生命と物語を持っています。石は長い年月をかけて川の中を転がり、数多くの戦いや愛といったものが行き交う様を見てきました。こうして生まれた河原の石は、不思議で、時に信じられないような形をした自然の美しい彫刻なのです。石は純粋です。エッセリーニと同じように。
Esseriniはあなたのそばにそっと寄り添って、「ありのまま」を受け入れる勇気をくれるでしょう。
それから、なんと今回はmanosの展示と少しずれて東京の神楽坂でも展覧会があります！しかも作者のシモーナさんが来日してお話会まであります！！！私も行きたい〜〜〜、土曜までの展示を速攻終わらせて行っちゃおうかな？

esserini means “ little creature” in Italian. An artist Simona Costanzo who live in Parma(Italy) create “ esserini” they are not only stuffed toys,but beings which have made from cloth and pebble heart simona picked in the river.they all are made by hand in Italy,and have a their own story and message! every esserini are predestined us to adopt…simona has drawn esserinis automatically,and numbered instead of name. and she thought they would be three dimensional. so she got started on making their body with cloth and button.and put small pebble as a heart in the body. She brought them to new life and love! the reason for pebble as heart….

we might step on pebbles everyday but, we don’t look at them hard... but,they are very beautiful and have their own life and story.They have been rolling in the river for long long time, and see the history like fighting and love…thus they formed in the river are sort of magical sculpture in nature.stones are pure just like esserini.
