木のしごと 鉄のしごと

今週末7月10日（土）から17日（土）まで、山本美文（木工／岡山）さんと成田理俊（鉄／群馬）さんの作品展、「木のしごと　鉄のしごと」がスタートいたします。10日（土）はお二人が岡山、群馬から広島においでてくださいます。それぞれの作風、作品に出会ったときに、その組み合わせにピンときて、作品展をお願いさせて頂きました。お二人の作品は素材はそれぞれ違っていますが、その簡素なデザインの中に「用の美」といいますか、「使う」ということに対して忠実に向き合ってそこに生じた美しさが、まっすぐに表現されているように感じます。とても素敵です。ぜひ、お二人の作品展楽しみに足を運んでいただければと思います。
new exhibition “ ki no shigoto, tetsu no shigoto by yoshifumi yamamoto( wood works / from okayama) and takayoshi narita(iron works /from gunma)@manos will start on July 10th (sat) until 17th(sat). they are coming to manos for this exhibition on 10th!　We’ve been interested in these materials which are wood and iron..so when we came across their works, we hit upon the idea we want to mach up works made by two different materials,and artists. That’s why we curate this exhibition. I found out each their works have the beauty of utility in those simple form. they are so nice!　☺
