猿山修デザイン展

来る3月27日（土）から4月3日（土）まで弊店にて、猿山修さんのデザイン展を行います。猿山さんは麻布十番でアンティークと新作のプロダクトのお店”さる山”を構えていらっしゃいますが、他にもグラフィックデザイナー、プロダクトデザイナーとして、さらに音づくり、コントラバスのプレイヤーとしても活躍されています。様々な方面で才能のある方です。この展覧会では猿山さんのデザインする器、カトラリー、お盆などの日用品の数々、それから照明など、音楽のCDなど、多岐にわたる猿山さんの作品を展示販売致します。猿山さんのデザインは簡素ですが、とても優美な美しさがあり、あたたかみのある有機的なフォルムで構築されています。初めてそれらを手にとった時うっとり、しっくり合う感じが致しました。きっと飽きることなく使い続けられるものだと思います。どんなものにも静かに溶け込んでいくような佇まいです。初日の3月27日（土）にはご本人も東京から来られます。そして！猿山さんのお店でも展覧会を行ったりされている広島の陶芸家の寒川義雄さんと奥様の真由美さんが27日（土）には１日限りのカフェをmanosにてオープンしてくださいます。、、というのも、寒川さんはとても美味しい珈琲を入れられるご夫婦で、奥様の真由美さんはご自身でオーガニックの生豆を焙煎していらっしゃいます。今春にはアトリエの脇にカフェを開かれるそうです。こちらは本当にとても素敵な場所です。温かみがあってすこし使い古された雰囲気のインテリアでなかなか他にない場所、空間です。ぜひ、今春のオープンをお楽しみに。27日の1日のみのカフェでは、寒川さんの焙煎されたコーヒー豆も販売いたします。とても美味しいコーヒーです。なかなか無い機会だと思います。ぜひ、この機会にご賞味、それから是非、猿山さんの作品、世界観に触れてみてください。

A new exhibition of the work of Osamu Saruyama who is the owner of ”saruyama” in Minato-ku Azabu,Tokyo, will start on March 27 th (sat) until April 4th ( sat) at our store Manos Garden. He is not only the owner of antique shop but also graphic & product designer and double bassist. he’ve worked in various field in the past. His design is simple and organic, but elegant.., I think we can use it without getting tired of it. They are fits to anything , anywhere.
And then,His friends Yoshio and Mayumi Kangawa are making special several kinds of coffee on March 27th at Manos!! 　You can buy these kinds of organic coffee beans mayumi san roasted! Yoshio kangawa is ceramic artist live in Hiroshima.and Mainly Mayumi san have been roasting organic green coffee beans for long time. It was really tasty coffee!! I’m surprised how lovingly they made coffee,When I visited their studio! They also are opening a cafe next to their pottery this spring! Their place is warm,rusty chic and cozy....Just wait until opening! Don’t miss it!
